Scot Bastian, PhD

Long ago, in another century, Scot did medical research at the Puget Sound VA Medical Center in conjunction with the University of Washington. This century, he has experimented with a number of passions, including acting, playwriting, poetry, Burning Man, community organizing, and international travel. Throughout, he has retained a profound respect for the scientific process and skeptical philosophy. He has been organizing the Seattle Skeptics and Science Enthusiasts for about twelve years.
